Asphalt Roofs

Composition shingle roofs are a good choice for a clean look at an affordable price. Composition shingles come in a large selection of types, brands and colors. Versatile, they adapt easily to different applications. They are relatively easy to install, and come in 30-year, 40-year and lifetime designer product options.

Metal Roofs

Metal roofs are durable, attractive, fire retardant and almost maintenance-free. They are also energy efficient; metal roofing reflects heat and blocks its transfer into the attic. Metal roofing is made from between 60 percent to 65 percent recyclable material. Because it weighs very little, metal roofing can be installed over existing roofs, eliminating the need to dispose of excess material in a landfill. All of these facts make metal roofing an excellent choice.

Currently, there is a tax credit of up to $1,500 (30% of the ENERGY STAR® certified material costs) for installing an energy-efficient metal roof.
